Our Story
Down to Earth (originally Down to Earth Health Foods) opened November of 2010. A convenient, hometown, health food store that supplies the beautiful city and surrounding areas of Star, Idaho.
Located on the outer edge of Ada County, this quaint town has developed into an active community with the simplicity of life that Idaho offers.
To support the lifestyle and health of the community, Down to Earth offers a wide selection of high quality vitamins, herbal supplements, health foods, and locally grown and produced products.

We carry a variety of all-natural, organic, gluten-free, and non GMO products.
Down to earth also has locally produced: Raw Goat and Jersey Cow Milk, Raw Honey, grass-fed, stimulant-free, antibiotic-free Beef, Pork, and Chicken, and Farm-fresh, Cage-free Eggs.

The hometown store continues to grow and adapt to meet the needs of the community.

Rusty Dodge is a family nurse practitioner and currently the sole provider and owner of Star Medical (starmedicalpractice.com); which is located right next door to Down to Earth. Rusty believes in nourishing your body with nature’s best to achieve your peak health!
